STOP PLAYING SMALL | Interview Ronne B

My Guest for this episode of The Haut De Game Interview series is multiple 7 figures entrepreneur Ronne B from http://ronneb.com

Ronne Brown is a wife, mother, coach, author, speaker, entrepreneur and over comer. She has influenced thousands of entrepreneurs by teaching them to achieve success on their own terms. Hailing from Washington, D.C., Brown inspires others to live and dream big. Ronne worked hard to change the trajectory of her life.

Ronne worked hard to change the trajectory of her life. She went from being a statistic to a success story. She worked long hours as a janitor while pregnant, but she didn’t allow that obstacle to make her lose sight of her purpose. Even though the odds were stacked against her, she was determined not to allow her past circumstances to stop her from achieving her goals. After being laid off from her job with only an unemployment check as her income, and three children to take care of, she knew she had to make a change. She was determined to face her fears, and step into her purpose. The lessons she learned on her journey as a teen mom gave her the courage to launch several business ventures.

In 2009, she founded High Heels High Goals, an exclusive, non-profit organization that teaches women how to be successful entrepreneurs and empowers women to reach their goals. Because Ronne has a heart for women, on any given day you can find her pouring into the lives of other women by speaking positive words, sowing seeds to assist with start-up costs in a new business venture, or coaching a woman to success.

In 2014, Ronne launched The Millionaire’s Academy, where she teaches people all over the world how to leverage the direct sales industry and earn income from home. Through this program, she has helped men and women create 6-figure incomes, become debt free, and live life on their own terms. Her vision is to empower others to succeed in business, and inspire people to leave a legacy for generations to come. She coaches entrepreneurs by using the strategies and methods she used to grow her own business and develop her as a leader. She believes, “Success is no accident, if you want to achieve amazing things and build a successful business, you have to do it on purpose for a purpose.”

YOUR STATE MATTERS

Body language speaks volumes about your state. Increase your awareness whenever  possible and especially in situations where you need more confidence whether it is public speaking, in a meeting, a presention, livestream or je ne sais quoi.

According to research, to hump forward when sitting can make you look insecure. So suck that tummy in towards your spine, lift up your head and square your shoulders when standing or walking for an instant boost.

I don’t need your approval darling, that’s for insecure people.

GET OVER THE FEAR OF CRITICISM

One of the main fear that keeps women small is the fear of criticism. Realise once and for all that people care more about themselves than others. No one is out to get you! They have enough problems of their own not to mentions the thousand thoughts per minutes streaming through their minds. We need to stop looking at ourselves through the eyes of others and get back in touch with our own selves.

Yes, it's worth mentioning that you might have suffered criticism from parents, teachers, friends or family when growing up and that would have caused some serious damages. Yet as an adult, you have the power to redefine yourself and claim back your power.

Letting in criticism from others can have disastrous effects on your self confidence, preventing you from taking initiatives, making the most of your creativity and completely  locking yourself in a self imposed cage of negativity.

So ma cherie, CHOOSE not to let criticism in if it's not constructive!

The woman who doesn’t require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on the planet.

know your values

Values give meaning and purpose to our lives. They are the building blocks for a solid foundation. It's the sum total of what you stand and fight for. Having deep core values are essential to an unshakable sense of confidence because they will be infused in everything you, whether it is raising your kids, being a wife, a friend or sister and for our purpose here a kick ass business woman. Remember how you do one thing is how you do everything!

Here's a quick fun exercise I always give to my students whenever I teach at Colleges and Universities or to my private Coaching clients:

1/ List 5 people to really admire

2/ For each person write down the reasons why you admire them

3/ Look at the pattern: which values come up the most?

4/ Pick the top 5 values that most speak to you

Voila! You've got your core values (you're welcome)! Because we can't see in other people what's not already in us, we identify and resonate more with people who are like us.

Your values will determine who you hang out with, date, marry and work with so make sure your entourage, clients and prospective clients know what you stand for and your non-negotiables

Now go live confidently ever after!
